![]() ![]() Eventually the line between the two blurs entirely as reality starts to break down. As the days go on and you advance the story by investigating certain people or occurrences in the game, you find elements of the Wired intruding on the real-world segments. You have a set amount of time to play the game on your Navi before bed, where you can accomplish in-game tasks or just explore and talk to people. ![]() In any case, you spend each day going through this person's life on a timer (like Majora's Mask, LSD, Pathologic, etc.) where some of it is taken up by shots of mundane reality to juxtapose with the in-game game. ![]() Maybe something like PHANTOMa with a definite goal, or maybe something more abstract like those virtual world games (Second Life, Active Worlds, Worlds Exploration, etc.). You play as a nondescript shut-in whose primary mode of interaction is logging onto an online game. Something more along the lines of Yume Nikki is what I'm imagining. I imagine an RPG wouldn't really fit the vibe of the series. ![]()
